According to South Korean media, B-1B bombers carrying large quantities of weapons can reach the Korean Peninsula in less than two hours after leaving their base in Guam.
        
                    
                  
The South Korean defense ministry added that under close coordination, the allies will seek to strengthen their cooperation by continuously expanding combined drills to deter and counter North Korean threats.
