Authorities in Sweden say they have confirmed that leaks sustained along the Nord Stream gas pipeline connecting Russia with Germany are acts of sabotage. They made the announcement on Friday after finding traces of explosives at the damaged sections, located in the Baltic Sea. The leaks were confirmed in September. Officials say they will continue working with other countries to identify who is responsible. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that the findings confirm what Russia already knew. He also said it is important to find out who did it. Shortly after the leaks were reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused "Anglo-Saxons" including the United States of sabotage.
