Expo 2025 pavilion of the future details revealed NHK

The organizer of the Expo 2025 in Osaka has unveiled details about a giant pavilion that will offer a stroll into the future.

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will operate the 4,800 square-meter structure along with 12 corporate sponsors.

The association says the site will give visitors the opportunity to walk through history, from the birth of life on Earth to the industrial revolution to the current days.

The series culminates in an area designed as a city in 2035, showing advanced medical technology and futuristic means of transport that could use cleaner forms of energy. The expo is due to open in April 2025.
