B: No, what's going on?

A: Well, they're rushing to fix homes that were damaged by Typhoon Halong. Now, another storm named Nakri is coming their way!

B: Oh no! I heard about that old lady, Shimizu Mieko, her house got damaged, right?

A: Yes! She had a hole made in the eaves above her front entrance from Halong. Now they're covering it up with wooden boards to prevent more damage from Nakri. Her storage shed also got a bit busted too.

B: That must be scary for her, two storms so close together!

A: You bet! She said she's really grateful for the repair work and worried about her roof getting blown off by the new storm.

B: I hope everything works out for her... By the way, did you hear they sent a Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force transport aircraft with relief supplies?

A: Yeah! They're sending cardboard beds, blankets, and tarps to help those affected. The GSDF has already sent 17 personnel to the island and plan to work with local officials to support residents.

B: Wow, that's great they're helping out! Let's hope everything gets better soon for everyone on Hachijojima Island.
