Japanese boxing sensation Inoue Naoya says he will aim to be the world's first unified champion of the four major tiles in two weight categories by moving up to super bantamweight.

After Inoue won a match in December, he became the world's first boxer to unify all four major titles in the bantamweight division.

Minutes after the match, the unbeaten Inoue, nicknamed 'Monster,' said he would switch to super bantamweight.

And on Friday, Inoue announced he would renounce all his champion belts and move to the higher category.

He said he has nothing left to do in bantamweight and there is no one he wants to face there. He said even though the belts are treasures to him, he wants to move forward without holding on to them.

Inoue said he will face bigger opponents, and that true fights await him. He said the challenge could be the final chapter in his boxing career. He noted that his goal is to unify the four titles in super bantam.

His team says negotiations are under way for his first bout in the upper class. The 29-year-old said he wants to take on a top super bantamweight fighter.
