The search continues for a US military Osprey aircraft that crashed off Kagoshima Prefecture, southwestern Japan. But no clues have been found that could lead to the discovery of the missing seven crew members. The Osprey, carrying eight people, went down off Yakushima Island on Wednesday. The body of one member has been recovered. On Friday, the Japan Coast Guard conducted an intensive search 1.2 kilometers off Yakushima Airport, where an underwater sonar search has detected what could be wreckage of the aircraft. The around-the-clock search involves divers, patrol ships and helicopters, but they have so far found no clues. The US military is also searching for the crew members and the aircraft. It says the Osprey belongs to the Yokota Air Base in Tokyo.
