Ukrainian residents of Japan protested at the Iranian embassy in Tokyo on Sunday over Tehran's reported provision of drones to Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. About 30 Ukrainians, include those who have escaped the war, protested at the embassy for about an hour. They held placards and flyers bearing messages such as "Don't send weapons to Russia," and "Iran must stop supporting terrorism." Ihor Ihnatiev, one of the organizers, says Iran must recognize it is helping Russia inflict suffering on Ukrainians by sending drones and other weapons, adding that he wants this to stop immediately. He said he will not stop protesting until the war ends, and he wants people around the world to remember this. The Iranian government denies involvement in the war in Ukraine, but the European Union and the United States say drones supplied by Iran to Russia are being used to attack Ukraine.
