2. Over 3.26 million foreigners entered Japan in September, an increase of 13.7% compared to the previous year and the highest for that month. China contributed approximately 20% (775,500) to this figure, with an 18.9% rise year-on-year.
3. Foreign visitors spent an estimated 2.13 trillion yen (approximately $14.1 billion USD) in Japan from July to September, representing a 11.1% increase compared to the same period last year and setting a new high for that particular quarter.
