Thailand&#039;s new prime minister Anutin Charnvirakul has pledged to dissolve parliament within four months.
        
                    
                  
Anutin formally took office after he received a royal endorsement on Sunday. He was elected as prime minister after his predecessor Paetongtarn Shinawatra was removed by the country&#039;s Constitutional Court.
        
                    
                  
Anutin held a news conference on Sunday and said, &quot;I will dissolve parliament within the four-month timeframe that was agreed upon to return power to the people so they can decide the future of the country.&quot;
        
                    
                  
As leader of the conservative Bhumjaithai Party, Anutin gained support from the pro-democracy People&#039;s Party on condition of the dissolution.
