A: Hey there! Guess what's been happening in France lately?
   B: Oh, what's up?

A: The French President, Emmanuel Macron, appointed a new prime minister named Sebastien Lecornu.
   B: Really? Why did the previous one step down?

A: Well, the previous Prime Minister, Francois Bayrou, lost a confidence vote in parliament and had to resign. This is the fourth change of PM in France since last January!
   B: Whoa, that's quite a lot! So, why did Lecornu get the job?

A: He's one of Macron's loyalists, but interestingly enough, he used to be part of a right-wing party. It seems like he was the least opposed candidate by lawmakers from right-wing and far-right parties, who have some influence in the legislature because the country has been under a minority government.
   B: I see! Now what's Lecornu going to do?

A: He'll start talking with different parties to gather support for next year's budget plan. But it might not be easy, as Bayrou's financial reconstruction plan failed to win backing from opposition parties.
   B: Yeah, that sounds tough. Hope he can pull it off!
