A: Hey there! Heard anything exciting?
   B: Not really, just been workin' and studyin'. Why?

A: There's this sad news about a 12-year-old girl from Thailand. Turns out she was made to work at a massage parlor here in Tokyo.
   B: Oh no! Who did this? The police are lookin' into it, right?

A: Yeah! They think one or more brokers might be involved, and they're even suspecting the girl's mother too. She left Japan and is being held in Taiwan now.
   B: That's terrible! What happened to the girl? Why couldn't she speak Japanese?

A: Well, she came here with her mother in June, and they took her straight to the parlor. The girl was sleepin' in the kitchen there. Her mother forced her to provide services to customers.
   B: Oh my gosh! When did they find out about this?

A: They became aware of it in September when she visited the immigration services bureau here in Tokyo. She told them she was being forced to work and wanted to go back to Thailand for school.
   B: That's awful, but at least they found out and are doin' something about it now, right?

A: Absolutely! The police are investigating this as a possible human trafficking case. They've arrested the parlor owner for employing someone under 15, which is illegal in Japan.
   B: I hope they catch everyone involved and bring justice to that poor girl. What about her mother?

A: Taiwan's immigration authorities have detained her. Thai police say she has traveled abroad 27 times, visiting places like Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
   B: Wow, that's a lot of traveling! I hope they can prosecute her under Thai law.

A: That's what the Thai police are trying to do. They said they don't know if she tried to escape but are taking steps to transfer her for prosecution.
   B: Poor girl... I hope she finds peace and can start a new life. Thanks for tellin' me about this, friend. Let's pray for her.
