A: Hey there! Heard any news lately? B: Not much, what's up? A: Well, our friend Hayashi from Japan just weighed in on a big one. Remember that tension between Israel and Iran? B: Oh yes, I follow the news. What did he say? A: He welcomed the ceasefire agreement announced by President Trump! It comes after Iran's response to US strikes on their nuclear sites. B: Wow, sounds like a tense situation! What else did Hayashi have to say? A: Well, he thinks calming things down quickly is super important. He also wants dialogue between the parties to resume. B: Makes sense, they need to talk it out. Did he think the ceasefire would actually hold? A: Yep! He really hopes so. And get this, peace and stability in the Middle East matters a lot to Japan too. They'll keep working with the international community to ensure safety for their citizens there. ---------------- Japan's top government spokesperson has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran announced by US President Donald Trump.
