Russian forces continue their attacks in eastern and southern Ukraine, inflicting more civilian casualties.
                
The authorities in the southern region of Zaporizhzhia said on Thursday that Russian bombardment on a residential area the previous day killed three people, and injured nine people, including an 11-month old baby.
                
Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukraine&#039;s presidential office, said on social media that the attack damaged a church along with residential buildings.
                
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday denounced the bombardment as &quot;another attack by Russian terrorists.&quot; He said that &quot;this war crime&quot; will definitely be brought to justice.
                
The governor of the eastern region of Donetsk said on social media on Thursday that three people were killed and four others were injured in a Russian attack.
                
Meanwhile, Russia&#039;s defense ministry said on Thursday that two drones heading for Moscow were destroyed by air defense systems. One was shot down over a western Moscow suburb, and the other over the Kaluga region, southwest of the capital.
                
The ministry said the drones caused no casualties and damage to buildings.
                
Drones have frequently entered the Moscow region since July.
