Japanese wheelchair tennis players win men's and women's singles at US Open NHK

Japanese wheelchair tennis players have won both the men's and women's singles events at the US Open.



In the men's singles final on Saturday, 19-year-old Oda Tokito defeated Gustavo Fernandez of Argentina with a set count of two to one.



Oda has become the youngest wheelchair tennis player to win a career Golden Slam by winning all four major grand slam tournaments as well as the Paralympics.



In the women's singles, Kamiji Yui defeated China's Xiaohui Li in the final set, winning her third US Open title.
