The Venezuelan opposition's former presidential candidate Edmundo Gonzalez has left the country for Spain. The election commission announced President Nicolas Maduro won the July vote, which raised questions from around the world about its fairness and transparency. Gonzalez declared victory. Maduro pressured the opposition by issuing an arrest warrant for Gonzalez, accusing him of incitement and other charges. Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said in a message posted on Instagram on Saturday that Gonzalez had left for Spain, where he will live in exile.
