A: Hey there, Yuki! Did you catch the news about that business competition show?
   B: No, I haven't, Kasumi. What's up?

A: Check it out! A lady named April Wachtel pitched her cocktail mixer company on a show called "Meet the Drapers". It's like Shark Tank but with Tim Draper and others as judges.
   B: Whoa, that sounds interesting! And she won or something?

A: Not yet, it's still going on. She said it was a whirlwind experience and great exposure for her startup. They film in different cities too, like NY, Tuscaloosa, Austin, and Detroit.
   B: Cool! I wonder what else they're looking for in these startups?

A: Well, Draper said it's about hearing the founder's story, people buying because they like you, and a great product. He even has a big personality, knows when to make fun of himself, and the investors give clear insights.
   B: That sounds entertaining! Any other interesting founders?

A: Yeah, there was this lady named Sujana Chandrasekhar from New Jersey who's developing a medical device for ear pain. She also got a chance to pitch on the show.
   B: Wow, I can imagine how nervous she must have been!

A: Yep, but she said the staff helped her prepare and made her feel special. And another founder, Hilary Taylor, found out about the show through a program and thought it was engaging and challenging. Her startup creates electric vehicle infrastructure.
   B: That's awesome! I can't wait to see more of these startups on "Meet the Drapers". Tim Draper seems pretty ambitious with his media empire too, like building digital twins and other shows about AI, web3, and emerging technology.

A: Absolutely! It seems like he really wants to showcase talent and explore the future through his network. He's even been experimenting with reality TV shows in the past.
