The Israeli government disclosed on Wednesday plans to conditionally allow humanitarian aid to be delivered from Egypt to the southern Gaza Strip.
The announcement follows summit talks on the same day between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Office reads, "Israel will not prevent humanitarian assistance from Egypt as long as it is only food, water and medicine for the civilian population located in the southern Gaza Strip."
The statement also says no supplies will be allowed to reach Hamas.
