US Vice President JD Vance has urged India and Pakistan to de-escalate tensions over a deadly terrorist attack in the disputed region of Kashmir.
        
                    
                  
In an interview with US media FOX News on Thursday, Vance expressed hope that &quot;India responds to this terrorist attack in a way that doesn&#039;t lead to a broader regional conflict.&quot;
        
                    
                  
He also called on Pakistan to &quot;cooperate with India to make sure the terrorists sometimes operating in their territory are hunted down and dealt with.&quot;
        
                    
                  
Tensions have been rising between India and Pakistan after a terrorist attack on April 22 in India-administrated Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 26 people, including tourists.
