Russian forces have conducted missile and drone attacks near the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and in major cities in the country&#039;s south, killing at least 10 people.
                
On Wednesday, a drone strike hit a five-story building in a Kyiv suburb. Nine people are said to have died there.
                
In the southern city of Zaporizhzhia, Russian missiles hit apartment blocks. Local authorities say one person was killed and more than 30 others injured.
                
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attacks, saying all Russian attacks will get a military, political and legal response. He said, &quot;Every Russian murderer should understand that an arrest warrant is the best thing that can happen to them.&quot;
                
The Institute for the Study of War, a US think tank, said on Wednesday that Russian forces conducted a drone and missile strike campaign overnight on March 21 through 22.
                
The institute noted it was a limited campaign, and indicated Russian forces may be struggling with a shortage of precision missiles. The think tank also said the tempo of Russian operations around the fierce battlefield of Bakhmut appears to be slowing.
                
Meanwhile, the deputy chair of Russia&#039;s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said Moscow will step up arms production to continue its military operation.
                
Medvedev told state-run media on Wednesday that the threat of a nuclear conflict is growing, blaming it on the constant supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine. He also said Russia has superiority in strategic nuclear capability.
