Taiwanese tech giant TSMC has reported record high revenue and profit for 2024. The world's largest semiconductor foundry operator credits growth in demand for cutting-edge chips for AI.
The report shows revenue jumped by 33.9 percent year-on-year to 2.89 trillion New Taiwan dollars. That's 90 billion US dollars.
Net profit soared by 39.9 percent to 1.17 trillion New Taiwan dollars, or 36.5 billion dollars.
