Indonesian rescue workers are scrambling to reach people trapped following a major earthquake. Disaster officials say at least 268 people were killed and around 150 others are missing. The magnitude 5.6 quake struck West Java province on Monday afternoon. An official said many of the casualties were children. Hospitals have been overwhelmed by injured people needing help. Officials said over 1,000 had to be treated. More than 58,000 people who lost their homes are living in temporary shelters. President Joko Widodo has ordered officials to make rescuing trapped people their top priority.
