US President Joe Biden has reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the United States will not support any Israeli counterattack against Iran.

US news website Axios quoted a senior White House official as saying that Biden told Netanyahu during a call on Saturday that the joint defensive efforts by Israel, the US and other countries in the region led to the failure of the Iranian attack. Biden also reportedly said: "You got a win. Take the win."

The report added, quoting the official, that Netanyahu said he understood when Biden told him the US will not participate in any offensive operations against Iran and will not support such operations.
