Relief supplies sent by the Japanese government have arrived in Syria following last week's devastating earthquakes. The relief goods, including blankets and tents, arrived at an airport in the capital, Damascus, on Wednesday. The Japanese government sent them at the request of the Syrian government. The items will be delivered to affected areas through the Red Crescent Society in the country.
