Russian diplomat denies possibility of negotiating with Ukraine, Western nations NHK

A senior Russian foreign ministry official has flatly denied the possibility of negotiating with Kyiv and Western nations that decided to send tanks to Ukraine.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov made the remarks in an interview with the country's state-run news agency on Sunday.

Ryabkov said, "In the current conditions, after Washington announced its decision to send tanks, it makes no sense to talk not only to Ukrainian Nazis, but also to their puppeteers."

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday asked Western nations to speed up the supply of new weapons to his country as Russian attacks there continue to kill civilians.
