A security conference held by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations has been given extra spice thanks to Washington, Moscow and Beijing.
                
ASEAN Regional Forum took place on Friday in Jakarta.
                
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken attended, along with China&#039;s top diplomat Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa was also present.
                
Diplomatic sources say Blinken traded barbs with both Lavrov and Wang.
                
The United States is at odds with Russia over the war in Ukraine. Washington and Beijing are divided over China&#039;s increasingly assertive activities at sea and the situation in Taiwan.
                
North Korea&#039;s ambassador to Indonesia attended the forum. The delegates widely condemned Pyongyang for testing what it says was an intercontinental ballistic missile on Wednesday.
                
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi expressed deep concern about tensions in the Indo-Pacific.
