A: Hey there! Guess what's been happening lately?
   B: What's up? I haven't heard anything interesting yet.

A: So, there have been some bear incidents in northeastern Japan recently, you believe it?
   B: No way! Where exactly happened these incidents?

A: Well, in the town of Misato, Akita Prefecture, two bears were spotted on a high school playground last Saturday morning.
   B: That sounds scary! Were there any students around at that time?

A: Yeah, there were three students, but their parents picked them up immediately. The police found the bears in a tree inside the compound and they say one of them was about 1.2 meters long and the other was around 50 centimeters.
   B: Wow, that's quite big! What happened after that?

A: They left the school shortly after 7 p.m., about 12 hours later. The police are advising nearby residents to be careful now.
   B: I see. Sadly, there was another incident in Akita City on Saturday as well. An elderly man in his 80s was attacked by a bear in a field and had injuries to his face.
   A: Oh no! He went to the hospital for treatment, right?

B: Yes, he did. Luckily, his injuries weren't life-threatening. There have been several attacks resulting in injuries this year in Akita Prefecture. The police are taking more precautions and issuing warnings against Asian black bears.
   A: That sounds dangerous. I heard there was another attack in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture too.
   B: Yeah, an 87-year-old man was attacked near his house on Saturday afternoon as he tried to scare the bear away. He got hurt in his hand and thigh, but again, his injuries weren't life-threatening.
   A: So scary! Be careful, okay? Let's keep an eye on the news for any updates.
