10 students killed in bombing at religious school in Afghanistan NHK

A Taliban official says at least 10 students were killed on Wednesday after a bomb went off at a religious school in northern Afghanistan.

Local media say the explosion occurred in Samangan Province around the time of afternoon prayers. Authorities say that more than 20 people were hospitalized.

No one has claimed responsibility.

Terrorist attacks have rocked Afghanistan since the Taliban retook power in August last year.
