Israel has continued its offensive in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip after the International Court of Justice ordered an immediate halt to the attack in the area as a provisional measure.
                
Health officials in Gaza said the Israeli bombing of a camp for displaced people northwest of Rafah on Sunday killed at least 35 people, most of them children and women.
                
The Israeli military said its air force struck a compound in Rafah in which &quot;significant Hamas terrorists were operating.&quot;
                
It also said the strike was carried out against legitimate targets under international law, through the use of precision munitions, with two senior Hamas members killed.
                
The military added that it is aware of reports that several civilians in the area were harmed in the strike, and that the incident is under review.
                
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, or UNRWA, wrote on social media, &quot;We do not have an established communications line with our colleagues on the ground.&quot;
                
The agency expressed concerns for the wellbeing of the staff and the displaced people sheltering in the area.
                
The agency said no place is safe, describing Gaza as &quot;hell on earth.&quot;
                
Criticism from the international community is growing as civilian casualties continue to rise in Rafah after the ICJ issued its order on Friday.
