A: Hey there! Heard some exciting news about Miyake Sho's movie?
B: No, what's up?
A: Well, guess who won the big prize at that film festival in Switzerland? You know, the one with the cool leopard statue.
B: Oh, was it one of our Japanese directors?
A: Yes indeed! It's been a long time since a Japanese film took home the top honor there, but Miyake did it this year! His movie "Two Seasons, Two Strangers" got the Golden Leopard.
B: Wow, that's amazing! Who's in it?
A: It stars a South Korean actress and has some Japanese actors too, like Tsutsumi Shinichi and Kawai Yuumi.
B: Neat! So what's the story about?
A: It's about this screenwriter who meets all these strange people while trying to make sense of her life. Pretty deep stuff, huh?
B: Sounds interesting. I wonder if it made Miyake feel any differently after winning such a big award.
A: Actually, he mentioned at the ceremony that he was questioning what films can do in this world full of bad news. But once he started working on this movie, he rediscovered his love for cinema and even for the world itself!
B: Wow, I can't wait to see it now!
A: By the way, did you hear about another Japanese director winning an award at that festival?
B: No, who was it this time?
A: It's Sora Neo, son of the late Sakamoto Ryuichi. His short film "A Very Straight Neck" won Best Auteur Short Film!
B: That's fantastic! Seems like a great week for Japanese cinema over there in Switzerland.
