A: Hey there! Heard any news lately?
   B: Nah, just the usual. What's up with you?

A: Well, I heard about Elon Musk again... This time his company The Boring Company is in hot water over violations in Nevada.
   B: Oh no! What happened this time?

A: They're accused of digging without permission, dumping untreated water on city streets, and not installing silt fences.
   B: Whoa, that sounds serious! Is it just The Boring Company or is Tesla in trouble too?

A: Actually, Tesla got hit with an enforcement action by California's Department of Insurance. They're accused of denying or delaying customer claims despite warnings from the state regulator.
   B: That's not good! And what about those self-driving cars they've been working on?

A: Yep, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into Tesla's Full Self-Driving tech after receiving reports that it caused vehicles to run red lights or cross into wrong lanes.
   B: Uh oh... So, what does this mean for Tesla's plans?

A: It probably won't derail their plans completely, but it's another example of increased scrutiny on the technology they're trying to make a big deal out of.
   B: I see... It seems like General Motors might be moving ahead with its autonomous vehicle development too. Any news there?

A: Yeah! They've been rehiring Cruise employees and building an AV team in Austin and Mountain View. So, they might be working on new ways to develop self-driving cars.
   B: That's interesting! There were also some other deals that caught your attention this week?

A: Yeah! Joby Aviation sold shares to raise money for certification and manufacturing efforts, but investors weren't too happy because the shares went for a lower price than before.
   B: Oh, I see... Is there anything else you found interesting?

A: Yeah! Futurail, a European startup developing an autonomy stack for self-driving trains raised €7.5 million in seed funding. There were also some infrastructure deals like Toyota and Metal Mining working together on all-solid-state batteries for electric vehicles.
