Leaders from Japan, the US, South Korea, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have held an emergency meeting following North Korea's launch of a ballistic missile on Friday.
They met on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Bangkok.
US Vice President Kamala Harris said the launch "destabilizes security in the region and unnecessarily raises tensions. We strongly condemn these actions and we again call for North Korea to stop further unlawful destabilizing acts."
The six countries also reaffirmed that they will work together to realize the complete denuclearization of North Korea.
