The Anfuote Balcony Solar Energy Storage System is now crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The modular storage solution uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are expected to last for up to 7,000 cycles or around 30 years. Storage is expandable between 2.6 and 21.6kWh, with accessories including 2,000W and 1,600W EMS controllers for the US and EU.

The Balcony Solar Energy Storage System has triple MPPT technology, allowing up to 2,400W PV input or a 2,400W AC output. Other features include a 0.01 ms uninterrupted power supply (UPS), remote control and monitoring via an app and intelligent energy distribution based on your needs. Other optional accessories include 1,000W and 800W microinverters for the US and EU, and 210W solar panels with a rated peak power (Pmax) of 125W. Anfuote claims that its energy storage solution can save households up to €1,500 (~$1,600) annually, with a set-up time of as little as 10 minutes. Plus, the system is compatible with 99% of microinverter and solar panel products, according to the campaign page.

The balcony power plant can operate in temperatures between -20°C and 55°C (~-4°F and 131°F) and is rated as IP67 waterproof and dustproof. You can make $1,699 or $1,799 pledges to receive the US or EU version of the Anfuote Balcony Solar Energy Storage System 2.6kWh Pack. Alternatively, you can pledge for 5.4kWh and 10.8kWh packs or basic kits that lack solar panels. The discounts for supporters versus the retail price range from 48% to 60% off. The company expects to ship its products in March 2024, though this is not guaranteed as with any crowdfunding project.
