US media outlet Bloomberg says Iran could soon launch major attacks against Israeli targets.
                
Bloomberg on Wednesday cited multiple officials as saying the US and its allies believe major missile or drone strikes by Iran or its proxies against military and government targets in Israel are imminent.
                
Iran&#039;s embassy in Syria came under missile attack on April 1. Seven military officers, including Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders, were killed, along with six Syrian civilians.
                
Tehran has blamed Israel for the attack and vowed retaliation.
                
US news website Axios on Wednesday quoted multiple Israeli government officials as saying the senior US military commander in charge of the Middle East is expected to visit Israel on Thursday to &quot;coordinate around a possible attack on Israel by Iran and its proxies.&quot;
                
US President Joe Biden told reporters on Wednesday that his country&#039;s commitment to Israel&#039;s security against threats from Iran and its proxies is &quot;ironclad.&quot; He added, &quot;We&#039;re going to do all we can to protect Israel&#039;s security.&quot;
