A: Japan's Foreign Ministry said that the last of eight Japanese nationals stranded in Aceh Province was rescued by Indonesian authorities on Tuesday afternoon.

A: Floods also hit Sri Lanka and Thailand, and over 1,400 people have been confirmed dead across the three countries. About 800 are still unaccounted for in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
