Soga spoke about her ordeal in North Korea and shared her feelings for her mother, Miyoshi, who remains missing and will turn 94 years old in December. 3. Soga appealed to Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and government officials to arrange a summit meeting with North Korea to address the issue of the missing abductees, after the recent death of Arimoto Akihiro, who was separated from his daughter Keiko (also an abductee).
