Japan won two more gold medals on the 11th day of the Paris Paralympics on Saturday, one each in road cycling and wheelchair tennis.

Sugiura Keiko won gold in women's road cycling in the C1-C3 physical disability class, which she also won at the Tokyo Games. The 53-year-old is Japan's oldest Paralympic gold medalist, having first become so at the Tokyo Games.

In wheelchair tennis, Oda Tokito beat top-ranked Alfie Hewett of Britain in the men's singles final.

Japan has now clinched a total of 39 medals -- 14 gold, 10 silver and 15 bronze.

China tops the count at 216, followed by Britain at 120 and the United States at 102.

On the Games' final day on Sunday, marathon runner Michishita Misato will aim for her second consecutive gold in the event for female athletes with visual impairments.

She won silver in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and gold in Tokyo three years ago.

The closing ceremony of the 12-day Games takes place on Sunday at Stade de France, one of the country's largest stadiums.
