The Houthis announced on March 11 that they will restart attacks on Israeli vessels navigating in the Red Sea as they oppose Israel blocking humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip.
        
                    
                  
In a message directed to Iran, Trump said its support for the Houthis must end immediately, and that the United States will hold Iran &quot;fully accountable&quot; if the Houthis threaten the American people.
        
                    
                  
Trump recently said he had sent a letter to Iran, requesting talks on its nuclear development.
        
                    
                  
The attacks on Yemen may be intended to pressure Iran to agree to the talks.
