- Japanese police are asking owners of the Real Gimmick Mini Revolver toy gun to surrender them by December 2025. - Approximately 15,800 of the dangerous toy guns have been distributed across Japan. - Possessing or importing the toy gun from 2026 could lead to charges under Japanese law. A: Hey! Did you hear about those mini revolvers? Crazy, right? B: No way! What’s happening with them? A: Apparently, they're calling on people to turn them in to the police! They look like toys, but they can actually shoot real bullets! B: Seriously?! That’s so dangerous! Where did they even come from? A: They’re made in China. They were given away in claw machines and stuff, starting around last December. About 15,000 of them are out there! B: Wow! That’s a lot. Has anyone been hurt? A: Not that we know of, but the police are really worried. They gave people until the end of December to turn them in. B: So, what happens if you don’t? A: They could be charged with breaking the law! Next year, it’s serious business. B: That’s scary! A dad whose son got one said it felt like a trap. He’s right! A: Totally. They’re also saying people shouldn't just throw them away. Gotta surrender them. B: Yeah, they already did that with other similar guns and raided some places to get them. Crazy times!
