The death toll from Wednesday&#039;s powerful earthquake in Taiwan has risen to 13. Search and rescue efforts continue.
                
More stranded people were brought to safety on Saturday as roads were repaired near Taroko Gorge in Hualien County.
                
Rescue workers are operating cautiously, as tremors continue.
                
Satellite data by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan confirmed crustal deformation across a roughly 30-kilometer-long area.
