Ukraine's Air Force has said it shot down 15 of 20 drones Russia launched to attack several regions.

The Air Force said on Sunday that Russia carried out the attacks for two nights in a row, but they caused no casualties.

The governor of the central region of Cherkasy said debris from the downed drones damaged five buildings.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video message on Saturday, "As winter approaches, there will be more Russian attempts to make the strikes more powerful."

He warned about attacks on power stations and other key infrastructure during winter, when demand for electricity rises.

A spokesperson for the military's Operational Command South said on Sunday that Russian troops were pushed back by 3 to 8 kilometers on the Russia-occupied eastern bank of the Dnipro River in the southern region of Kherson.

The spokesperson called this an "achievement," but said the military still has plenty of work to do because a massive Russian force remains on the bank.
