A: Hey there! Heard any news today?
   B: Not really, what's up?

A: So, it looks like the UN has passed a resolution about those kids taken away from Ukraine since the invasion last year.
   B: Oh, you mean the ones in Russian-occupied areas? That's tragic, isn't it?

A: Exactly! The Ukrainian government says over 19k kids have been taken and now they want them back right away.
   B: Wow, that's a lot. I wonder what Russia will say about this?

A: Well, they said the adoptions are just temporary guardianship measures, but many people don't believe it. Some of the kids have even had their names changed!
   B: That sounds really scary and unfair for those kids. What's Ukraine doing to find them?

A: The minister said some are still missing and hopes they'll be found soon. She added that many are waiting in fear, hoping to be rescued. It breaks my heart.
   B: I feel the same way. I hope those kids can go back home safely as soon as possible.

A: On a positive note, the resolution was supported by 91 countries! But unfortunately, Russia and some others voted against it. China and many others abstained.
   B: Well, that's not great, but let's hope for a better outcome next time.

A: Lastly, remember how Putin got an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court in 2023? They accused him of committing the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer of children.
   B: Oh yeah! That's a huge issue. We should keep those kids in our prayers.
