A: Hey there! Heard anything exciting lately?
   B: Not much, just been working. What's up?

A: You won't believe this! There was a huge cultural exchange festival in Seoul over the weekend.
   B: Really? That sounds cool! Was it between Japan and South Korea?

A: Absolutely! They've been friends for 60 years now, you know. This event has been happening annually since 2005. It's one of the biggest events bringing them together.
   B: Wow, that's impressive! What kind of stuff was there?

A: All sorts of traditional things from both countries. There were about 60 booths showcasing everything from culture to specialty products. Lots of families and visitors came by in the morning.
   B: That sounds fun! Did you see anything cool?

A: Yeah, there was this Japanese calligrapher named Aoyagi Bisen who wrote "friendship" using traditional string instruments. It was really beautiful to watch.
   B: That's amazing! I wonder if I could learn something like that.

A: They say around 12 million people traveled between the two countries last year, so it looks like a lot of folks are interested in getting to know each other better.
   B: I can see why! Japanese culture gives this South Korean lady in her 40s a sense of calmness and serenity. She says it's unique but charming.

A: Her children even got to experience it firsthand! A Japanese woman who went as a cosplayer said cosplay fans in South Korea are super friendly and speak Japanese well. She made lots of new friends there.
   B: That's so great! It sounds like a wonderful way to connect with each other.
