The chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency has visited the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine.
Ukraine's state nuclear power company, Energoatom, and others announced that Rafael Grossi arrived at the plant on Wednesday.
A series of shelling has caused halts to external electricity supplies to the plant that are necessary for cooling reactors.
Grossi will survey the current state of the plant. It is his second visit there following the one in September.
The IAEA has been holding talks with Ukraine and Russia to ensure the plant's safety.
Grossi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday.
On the following day, he told the Associated Press that he could visit Russia within a few days for talks.
