Israeli security forces carried out a sweep operation in the West Bank on Tuesday. Palestinian health ministry says three Palestinians died and around 30 people were wounded.

The Israeli forces conducted what they say was an anti-terrorist operation at a refugee camp in the city of Jenin.

Local media say Israeli security forces clashed with gunmen in the camp and carried out a strike using a drone.

Footage from the scene shows black smoke that appears to have been generated by the strike, and injured people being rushed to a hospital.

The raid is the latest in a series of recent clashes between Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank.
In July, 12 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli military operation.

Observers are raising concerns that tensions may escalate as the clashes intensify.
