A: Hey there! Heard anything interesting lately?
   B: Not really, what's up?

A: There's this art gallery in Higashimatsuyama City near Tokyo, called the Maruki Gallery. They've been around for a while and it looks like they need some fixing up.
   B: Oh, I see. What's so special about it?

A: Well, they have these artworks called the Hiroshima Panels that show what happened in Hiroshima right after the atomic bombing in 1945. It was painted by a husband and wife team named Maruki Iri and Maruki Toshi who actually witnessed it.
   B: Wow, that sounds heavy. Did people get to see them before they closed?

A: Yeah, they were viewing them up until yesterday when the gallery closed for renovations. A guy in his 30s said he appreciated the works in a peaceful setting.
   B: That's good to hear. What's the plan now?

A: The gallery will be renovated long-term, and they hope it'll become a place where we can keep preserving and protecting the Hiroshima Panels for future generations. They aim to reopen in May of 2027!
