Hezbollah fires rockets into Israeli position, citing ceasefire violations NHK

The Shia Muslim group Hezbollah fired rockets at an Israeli military position in a border area on Monday for the first time since a ceasefire took effect last week.

Hezbollah said the volley was a warning shot in response to what it called repeated ceasefire violations by Israel.

Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said on Monday that Israel is not violating the ceasefire understandings but is enforcing them in response to Hezbollah's violations, which demand immediate action.

There are mounting concerns that the truce will not hold as Israel is likely to respond to the latest rocket attack by Hezbollah.
