Trump and Zelenskyy meet on sidelines of Pope's funeral NHK

The White House says US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met on the sidelines of the funeral of Pope Francis in the Vatican on Saturday.



Both US and Ukrainian officials described the meeting as "very productive."



Ukraine's presidential office said the exchange lasted about 15 minutes.



The two had last gathered at the White House in February in an event that ended in a heated argument.



Officials with the French presidential office say President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer joined the meeting, which was positive.
