Resorts will set up gender-free restrooms and changing rooms. Wedding planners will offer an array of attire for those celebrating their special day.

Digital travel platform, Agoda, estimates Thailand's same-sex marriage legislation is set to deliver an additional 4 million international visitors per year and increase tourism revenue by nearly 2 billion dollars annually.

However, some LGBTQ campaigners are calling for more measures to eliminate remaining discrimination rather than just focusing on the economic benefits.
