US Supreme Court rules Trump has immunity for official acts NHK

The US Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump has immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts taken as president.

This increased the likelihood that a trial on the case involving his attempt to overturn the 2020 election will not be held before the November presidential poll.
