Trump said he is authorizing the US Commerce Department and the US Trade Representative to immediately start the process of instituting the tariff on all movies that are produced in "Foreign Lands."

He concluded the post by saying, "WE WANT MOVIES MADE IN AMERICA, AGAIN!"

According to CNN, it is not clear how such a tariff would be imposed. Its report says, "Films are intellectual property, not goods, so they represent a kind of service that is not currently subject to tariffs."

Meanwhile, the White House posted a picture on social media of Trump holding a lightsaber, a sword from the movie Star Wars. The post was apparently marking Star Wars Day, observed on May 4th every year.
